The world is rapidly changing. Bin Laden is dead. The Middle East is in utter and dangerous chaos. And Oprah Winfrey has retired her program after nearly 30 years of leading millions of people worldwide in the wrong directions: away from the Christian Faith and good moral behavior. What a relief! Christians around the world are elated and clapping their hands with glee! It's 29 years too late!
O. Winfrey has done immeasurable damage to Christian thinking and the American culture in general. That damage to the culture may never be overcome. It's to wide spread and in too many directions for a long period of time. Untold millions of people watched her program and decided the sun rises and sets with her popularity.
O. Winfrey's philosophy of daily living left so much to be desired. It was full of just plain wrong thinking. Her ideologies were warped. She was very successful in leading souls away from God's laws and solid moral behavior.
O. Winfrey's study of life time and again emphasized that people should carry out their inner feelings, even if those feelings and longings were sinful accord¬ing to the Bible. She promoted a false sense of thinking and acting. She created a personalized type of faith and living.
O. Winfrey's ideas were many. That's what doubled her effect. She was a strong ad¬vocate of contraception during unmarried immoral sex instead of refraining from it. She emphatically endorsed the criminal and inhuman act of abortion. The kill¬ing of innocent and helpless babies was okay with her. She was very much in favor of homosexuality. All of these ideas strayed far from Christian thinking and good moral behavior. She used her empire and program as a platform to promote her many ideologies.
Christians everywhere can now feel relieved and very grateful that O. Winfrey is no longer a part of Daytime TV. She was a very harmful magnet for millions of gullible people. She led so many souls away from Christian faith and Christian living. She created a hodgepodge of personalized faith that has greatly harmed America's culture. Now, she is gone for good. It was a long time in coming. And now practicing Christians everywhere can finally say it: good riddance, Oprah Winfrey!
