As the many serial killings increased and proceeded in America during the first few years of the counter culture movement, none is more notable, remembered, and referred to as the Charles Manson cult murders in 1969. The year 2009 is the 40th anniversary year of those cult activities and murders.

The cult included Charles Manson as the purely evil cult leader. It would not be a surprise to know that he was/is demonically possessed. All the markings are present in his life history. His thinking and behavior was pure evil. His cult members included Susan Atkins, Patricia Kernwinkel, Leslie Van Houten, and Charles “Tex” Watson. Manson originated the evil ideas and the members carried them out. The murders of actress Sharon Tate and a wealthy grocer and his wife shocked California and the world. Their murderous activities were given the nickname of “Helter Skelter”.

Charles Manson was the most famous flower child of the upsetting and murderous 1960-1970 time period. He was a very manipulating career criminal. He attracted a band of hippie followers who carried out his demonically criminal ideas and suggestions. Manson was convicted of nine murders alone. He had the mind and disposition of and evil person so wicked, that it defies human perception. And the look in his eyes gives the very sure indication of pure evil and that a real demonic entity had control of his life and actions.

Recently, cult member Susan Atkins died in prison at the age of 61. In the Orange Country Register was a picture of Susan at age 21. She was a very pretty woman. But her life was not pretty. She spent most all of her adult life in prison, as she was the admitted and convicted killer of Sharon Tate. At the time of the murder she was so stoned on acid she did not remember how many time she stabbed the begging and pleading actress. While in prison Susan developed brain cancer, had a leg amputated, and died paralyzed. Manson and the other three cult member remain in prison.

A new book, Shadow Over Santa Suzanna, Adam Gorightly, has been recently published during this anniversary year. The book includes all the cult activities of the Charles Manson cult. It is unbelievable how demonic those cult activities were, as the group’s private activities took place among themselves. Some of the Original cult members left and were not involved in the cult murders. All the sex and acid taking and other dope taking along with the murders were the epitome of evil behavior. The bottom line of it all is the lives lost and the lives that were ruined. The book by Adam Gorightly is a must read on demonic behavior.
