The Defiled Legacy
On 1-11-14 a final decision was made by an arbitrator and court judge that arbitrator’s decision must go into effect for the record. That was bad news for Alex Rodriguez, A-Rod as he is known throughout America.
Immediately, A-Rod hired a lawyer to sue Major League Baseball (MLB) and the player’s union. None of that is going to work to reverse the arbitrator’s decision. A-Rod will have to complete his 2014 baseball suspension. The New York Yankees have to just live with decision also, and they are going to try to revoke his contract because the information leading on the arbitrator’s decisions proves that A-Rod did use PEDS and lied about it.
It is quite noticeable that not one MLB player has come to A-Rod’s defense. They have all remained completely silent. They do not like A-Rod. They have avoided him in the clubhouse and on the baseball field. The regard him as very arrogant, self-serving, a cheater, a liar, and immoral and questionable in his selection people he chooses to hang around with. The player’s behavior will rub off on them, so they avoid him completely.
In 2014 A-Rod will be thirty-nine-years-old. When he is able to resume his baseball career in 2015 he will be 40, so it is safe to say that is age plus a long period of inactive baseball activity will bring his career to an end. And it is hard to believe another team will be interested in him and all the disgusting and legacy he’ll bring with him.
All the indications point in the direction that A-Rod’s baseball career is over as he has struck out for the last time as follows:
1. Strike one is the arbitrator’s decision to suspend him.
2. Strike two is the court will not be able to reverse the suspension decision.
3. Strike three will be no other team will be interested.
That will force A-Rod to do the next best thing, and that is to take his disgusting self and his defiled legacy with him as he rides off into the sunset. That will be goodbye and good riddance, Mr. A-Rod and the sooner better.
