Incomprehensible

Roger Behra

The list of incomprehensible events and behavior going on in present day America is quite long. And sixteen letter words is the exact word to describe how the American culture is declining day by day.

The word incomprehensible means that something cannot be understood and/or acceptable. The percentage of Americans who realize their culture has greatly declined since the year 2001 has decreased. As the older generation passes away they are being replaced by younger members who aid the decline, and that does not bode well for American culture at all.

The BP oil disaster is at the top of the list. It is greatly incomprehensible as to how that could even happen. And then it is beyond belief that it could not be completely controlled immediately. The ruined ecology in many places will last a very long time and maybe forever in some places. It will be surprising if the spill will ever be stopped.

It is incomprehensible that so many monster pickups and vans can be everywhere on America’s roadways. They burn great amounts of gasoline and take up two parking spaces in smaller businesses. And the drivers of those monsters win the rudeness awards. They make up their own rules of the road. The road monsters are a classic example of something that can be done but should not be done. The monster pickups and vans and their rude and impolite drivers are a cultural disgrace.

It is incomprehensible that so many dysfunctional school systems exist in America. That is a double black-eye for the counterculture people. There was a time when America’s schools were orderly, well-run, productive, and a real credit to America’s culture, but they are not anymore. They are cesspools of behavior problems, criminal planning, and immoral dress and conversation. The curriculums are vastly diluted, and the teachers are vastly overloaded with non-teaching work. When 35% to 50% of high school seniors do not graduate, something is very wrong.

Political correctness is very incomprehensible. It is a counterculture invention. It condones behavior as acceptable without the backing of established law. It has greatly harmed America’s culture because political correctness has severely diluted established laws that are in effect. Political correctness looks away.

It is incomprehensible that bad language is part of radio shows, that “strips joints” are every where that tattooed men and some women look like zoo animals, that the U.S. Supreme Court’s 1973 decision has led to ever 30,000,000 abortions, and that 60% of Americans do not precise Christian living.

It is not incomprehensible that the counterculture decision to throw out the old (God, Christian living, the traditional, common sense) and bring in the new (Godlessness, money worship, sex, drugs, make up your own rules) has ruined America’s culture. Now the piper is being paid, and we all hear the tune. That is incomprehensible.
