A Love Never To Be Equaled
By

When Catholics (and others, also) say the Rosary prayer on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Sorrowful Mysteries are part of the prayer. The Sorrowful Mysteries are: 1. Jesus is Condemned to Death. 2. The Scourging at the Pillar. 3. The Crowning with Thorns. 4. The Carrying of the Cross. 5. The Crucifixion. The Bible gives us the separate events that make up the five Sorrowful Mysteries.
Prior to the actual events of the Sorrowful Mysteries, Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemani praying and asking His heavenly Father to spare Him the awful ordeal of the passion, crucifixion, and death on the cross, which was the will of His heavenly Father. But as Jesus visualized all the sins of mankind down be changed. In order for salvation, the crucifixion had to take place. There was no other way for mankind to gain eternal salvation.
Because God is God, all things are possible as He wishes. And remember that God took a human nature and was called, Jesus. Jesus was both divine and human. When Jesus finally realized that His passion and death on the cross had to become a reality, it was at the moment of His decision to complete His Father´s will has a human person that the greatest act of human sacrifice and love for mankind was consummated. And hours later it became a reality.
Without fail all of us should take moment each morning and evening to thank Jesus for His decision. Remember, He could have said NO to the will of His heavenly Father. The momentous decision of Jesus guaranteed our eternal salvation- if we earn it living as good Christians and die in the Lord´s friendship. Jesus´ most great act of self-sacrifice and love for us will never be equaled. Let´s always be most thankful in return.
