SHORT COMMUNICATION 101
Signs of Demonic Possession

On July 17, 2009, Michael Dee Mattson died after spending 29 years on death row at San Quentin State Prison. What makes Mattson the topic of this communication is the clear fact that he was a classic example of pure evil. Mattson was on death row after he was sentenced to death in 1980 for killing two Southern California girls. One was a 9-year-old girl, and the other was a 16-year-old teenager. He confessed later to raping as many as 15 girls. His sentence was justifiable after confessing to kidnapping, raping, and murder. All of that was serious criminal and evil activity.
What makes this a noteable case is this. The detective, Mr. Pat Dingle, who helped harden the case against Mattson, interviewed him in his prison cell. And in the words of detective Dingle is the following statement. "The first time I saw him sitting in a cell, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. I knew immediately he was pure evil. He never showed remorse. He could sit on your chest, strangle you, twist a tourniquet around your neck, watch you die, and then eat a sandwich." Dingle had the intense feeling that he was sitting near undeniably pure evil. He accurately sensed that from the look in Mattson's eyes and the condition of Mattson's face along with the conversation. Dingle's sense about Mattson was 100% accurate. Mattson was pure evil.
In the book, Hostage to the Devil, by Malachi Martin, Malachi reveals that it is absolutely and accurately possible to know and feel that an evil spirit is in possession of a human being. The telltale signs are revealed in the possessed person's eyes and taut condition of the face. The eyes emit pure evil, and the condition of the face is such that it is never that way in an unpossessed person. The eyes and face are clear indications that an evil spirit is in possession of the person's spirit. Another indication is the fact no remorse is ever shown for the evil acts committed. There are other indications, such as, tone of voice, contempt, anger, coldness.
Malachi Martin was a practicing exorcist as a Catholic priest for over 30 years. He knew of and revealed accurately in his book what is true and exact about evil spirits and demonic possession. He had many very frightening and shocking experiences during his exorcisms. Therefore , it is correct to assume that Mattson was in the clutches of an evil spirit as he sat in his prison cell in conversation with detective Dingle, who had a keen sense that evil was certainly present. But detective Dingle probably was not aware that it was a case of demonic possession. He sensed the pure evil, but he most likely did not connect all the dots. Perhaps, Dingle did after the fact, as he searched for an answer for the overwhelming sense of the pure essence of evil that existed in Mattson's cell.
