Poner la Confianza en Dios, Buscando la Paz

“Fruto de justicia siembran en paz los que procuran la paz” (Santiago 3, 18)

La Persona Humana debe poner todas sus angustias y preocupaciones en las manos de Dios, así en el hermoso Poema del Rey David, invocó a Dios en la Oración del Calumniado, en donde dice: “Confía tu suerte al Señor, y él te sostendrá: nunca permitirá que el justo perezca”, Cf. Salmo 55 (54), versículo 23.

En los momentos actuales, es muy provechoso leer y meditar el Salmo 55(54) completo, te dará paz interior, y también aprovecha para pedirle a Dios nos de la fuerza de la humildad para seguir buscando la paz en todos nuestros ambientes en que nos desenvolvamos, pues Dios aborrece a los que aman la violencia (Cf. Sal 10, 15), y en las Bienaventuranzas Jesús dijo “Bienaventurados los que trabajan por la paz porque serán llamados hijos de Dios (Cf. Mt 5, 9)

Al árbol se conoce por su fruto (Lc 6, 44; y Mt 12, 33), así Jesús, Jesucristo, es el Hijo del Altísimo, y su reino no tendrá fin, San Mateo señala la genealogía de Jesucristo (Mt 1,1), sus padres fueron José y María, la cual fue concebida por el Espíritu Santo y nació Jesús llamado el Cristo, siendo el origen de Jesucristo (Mt 1, 16, 18).

Jesús de Nazaret, estas dos palabras de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo, provienen acorde con evangelio de San Mateo de la ciudad donde se estableció Jesús, llamada Nazaret. Así se cumplió lo que había sido anunciado por los profetas: "Será llamado Nazareno", (Mt 2, 23); además de que su Madre la Santísima Virgen María vivía en Nazaret, ciudad de Galilea, y San Lucas lo explica así: En el sexto mes, el ángel Gabriel fue enviado por Dios a una ciudad de Galilea, llamada Nazaret, a una virgen que estaba comprometida con un hombre perteneciente a la familia de David, llamado José. El nombre de la virgen era María. El Ángel entró en su casa y la saludó, diciendo: «¡Alégrate!, llena de gracia, el Señor está contigo». Al oír estas palabras, ella quedó desconcertada y se preguntaba qué podía significar ese saludo. Pero el Ángel le dijo: «No temas, María, porque Dios te ha favorecido. Concebirás y darás a luz un hijo, y le pondrás por nombre Jesús; él será grande y será llamado Hijo del Altísimo. El Señor Dios le dará el trono de David, su padre, reinará sobre la casa de Jacob para siempre y su reino no tendrá fin»”, (Lc 1, 26-33); y fue llamado Jesús Hijo de Dios el Altísimo, (Mc 5, 7; Lc 8, 28).

El Árbol de la Vida: se encontraba en el centro del Edén, y vivirá para siempre él que come de este árbol (Gn 2, 9; Gn 3, 22). Yahveh Dios para guardar el camino del árbol de la vida, puso delante del jardín del Edén a querubines y la llama de la espada vibrante, (Gn 3, 24). El libro de Proverbios de Salomón dice del árbol de vida, en cuatro versos lo siguiente: “Es árbol de vida para los que a ella están asidos, felices son los que la abrazan”, (Pr 3, 18); “El fruto del justo es un árbol de vida; cautivador de las almas es el sabio”, (Pr 11, 30); “Espera prolongada enferma el corazón; árbol de vida es el deseo cumplido”, (Pr 13, 12); y, “ Lengua mansa, árbol de vida, lengua perversa rompe el alma”, (Pr 15, 4).

En el libro del Apocalipsis de San Juan, el árbol de la vida es mencionado en tres ocasiones: “El que tenga oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las Iglesias: al vencedor le daré a comer del árbol de la vida, que está en el Paraíso de Dios”, (Ap 2, 7); “Dichosos los que laven sus vestiduras, así podrán disponer del árbol de la Vida y entrarán por las puertas en la Ciudad”, (Ap 22,14); y, “Y si alguno quita algo a las palabras de este libro profético, Dios le quitará su parte en el árbol de la Vida y en la Ciudad Santa, que se describen en este libro”, (Ap 22, 19).

Así podemos recordar que Jesús de Nazaret se llama así mismo: “Yo soy” o “Soy yo”, y es mencionado por San Juan en su evangelio: “Yo soy el pan de Vida”, (Jn 6, 48), “Él les dijo: «Soy yo, no teman»”. (Jn 6, 20), “Yo soy el pan vivo bajado del cielo. El que coma de este pan vivirá eternamente, y el pan que yo daré es mi carne para la Vida del mundo»”, (Jn 6, 51), y, “Yo soy la vid, ustedes los sarmientos El que permanece en mí, y yo en él, da mucho fruto, porque separados de mí, nada pueden hacer” (Jn 15, 5).

¿Cuál es el significado del Árbol de la Vida para Usted? Acercarse a Dios y hacer el bien. Si Ud., es creyente, lea y medite las citas bíblicas de este escrito; y además, sí es una persona católica, asiduo lector del Catecismo de la Iglesia Católica, le tengo unas preguntas de Tarea en relación al Árbol de la Vida:

1. ¿Es Jesucristo el Árbol de la Vida? ¿Por qué?

2. ¿El Árbol de la Vida es símbolo de la Santísima Trinidad? ¿Por qué?

3. Del presente escrito, en los párrafos tres y cuatro, se mencionan varios libros sagrados, existe un solo versículo que se hace alusión en el Catecismo de la Iglesia Católica ¿Cuál es, y a qué capítulo de libro pertenece? La Bendición del Señor en tiempos bíblicos del Antiguo Testamento a Moisés, nos revela la generosidad del Padre con el pueblo de Israel, en el libro de Números menciona que en aquel tiempo el Señor hablo a Moisés y le dijo: Habla a Aarón y a sus hijos y diles: 'Yahveh te bendiga y te guarde; ilumine Yahveh su rostro sobre ti y te sea propicio; Yahveh te muestre su rostro y te conceda la paz,' Que invoquen así mi nombre sobre los israelitas y Yo los bendeciré" (Cf. Nm 6, 22-27). [1]

Comentarios acerca del nombre sagrado de Dios

Con esta cita bíblica (Nm 6, 22-27) Dios nos reveló desde el Antiguo Testamento como invocar su nombre sagrado y las bendiciones que trae consigo el hacerlo de esa forma (Cf. Nm 6, 27), en esta fórmula de bendición, tan hermosa como extraordinaria, se menciona tres veces el nombre sagrado del Señor (Dios), con el nombre de Yahveh, en los versículos 24, 25, y 26 del libro de Números 6; por lo tanto la fórmula de bendición es trinitaria, es decir, Dios es Uno y Trino, y de hecho se ha mantenido hasta la actualidad; y si consideramos los 6 versículos del Capítulo 6 (Nm 6, 22-27), el nombre de Dios se menciona 5 veces, 4 veces con el nombre explícito de Yahveh (Nu 6, 22, 24, 25, 26, y una vez con el nombre de “Yo” (versículo 27), que en este escrito se puso esta palabra con mayúscula, y no con minúscula como aparece en las distintas Biblias que representa a la Ley=Torá=Pentateuco de Moisés, [2], y como dice el Papa Benedicto XVI, y en la fe de los cristianos Jesús es la Torá en persona, y la santificación se realiza por tanto en la comunión del querer y del ser con Él. Comentarios sobre el Sacerdocio de Aarón, Jesucristo, y los israelitas

Aarón y sus hijos representa a la clase sacerdotal de la tribu de Levi, en donde el orden sacerdotal se transmitía en forma hereditaria, fue el primer Sumo Sacerdote en la Antigua Alianza= Antiguo Testamento (AT), y representa la figura de Jesucristo, quien su descendencia era de Judá, y no es mencionada por Moisés en relación al sacerdocio, pero a semejanza de Melquisedec que su nombre significa y era Rey de Salem que significa , se atestiguo en tiempos bíblicos que se dijo: "Tú eres sacerdote para siempre, según el orden de Melquisedec", en donde Cristo es el Hijo perfecto con un sacerdocio eterno, siendo el garante de la Nueva Alianza=Nuevo Testamento (NT) con Dios, y es recordado por San Pablo en la Carta a los Hebreos capítulo 5 y 7. [4]; Joseph Ratzinger, o sea, el Santo Papa Benedicto XVI, menciona que según el libro del Éxodo, menciona que la consagración sacerdotal de los hijos de Aarón tiene lugar mediante un revestimiento de las vestiduras sagradas y con la unción (Cf. Ex 29, 1-9); en el ritual de la día de la Expiación se habla también de un baño completo antes de ponerse las vestiduras sagradas (Cf. Lv 6,4). Los discípulos de Jesús son santificados, consagrados . La verdad es el baño que los purifica, la verdad es la vestidura y la unción que necesitan. [5]

¿Y quiénes eran los israelitas, si Aarón era Levita y Jesucristo Judío? Bueno, según la explicación en la Sagrada Escritura, dice: “Ya no será tu nombre Jacob, sino Israel, porque has luchado con Dios y con los hombres, y has prevalecido” (Cf Gn 32, 28), entonces la palabra Israel designa a Jacob, pero también a su familia (Cf. Gn 34, 7 y Gn 47, 27), y a los israelitas (Cf. Algunas citas bíblicas del AT y del NT en la Nota [6].

Comentarios acerca de los verbos y símbolos de la fórmula de bendición

En la fórmula de bendición (Nu 6, 24-26), se hace alusión a palabras que proceden de distintos verbos: Bendecir, Guardar, Iluminar, Propiciar, Mostrar y Conceder, y el valor ético-moral es la Paz, que en el evangelio de Marcos simboliza a la Paloma de la Paz que simboliza al Espíritu Santo que se apareció cuando San Juan el Bautista bautizo a Jesucristo en el Jordán [7], y es la Paz Bienaventurada que nos da la Felicidad, y como dice Benedicto XVI, el culto verdadero es el hombre vivo que se ha convertido completamente en respuesta a Dios, modelado por su Palabra sanadora y transformadora. Y el verdadero sacerdocio, por tanto, es ese ministerio de la Palabra y el Sacramento que transforma a los hombres en una entrega a Dios y convierte el cosmos en una alabanza al Creador y Redentor. Por eso el Cristo, que se ofrece a sí mismo en la cruz es el auténtico Sumo Sacerdote, al que se refería de manera simbólica el sacerdocio de Aarón. El don que Él hace de sí mismo –su obediencia que nos acoge a todos nosotros y nos devuelve a Dios- es, pues, el verdadero culto, el verdadero sacrificio. Por este motivo, el entrar al misterio de la cruz ha de estar en el centro del ministerio apostólico y del anuncio del Evangelio que conduce a la fe. [8]

Recordar que hay que ver el Antiguo Testamento con la mirada del Nuevo Testamento, y la tarea es profundizar lo que se ha dicho, considerando el Magisterio de la Iglesia, la Tradición de los Apóstoles, y los escritos de los Papas, ya sea en sus encíclicas o libros.

Down The Wrong Path

There are so many wrong paths that can be taken nowadays in modern cultures. Here you are going to read about two paths taken by so many teen-agers and their clueless parents.

A divorced professional woman has a son and a daughter. The problems centers around her and her 15-year-old son and how clueless she is about her son’s daily behavior. This particular problem can be multiplied by a five-figure number throughout the American culture.

During her son’s elementary school days he was an obedient, honest, and very good student. Then, once he got settled in the high school environment, everything changed very noticeably and drastically: he became a confirmed and addicted pot smoker; his behavior deteriorated; he no longer is honest, obedient, and a good student. It’s an existing parental nightmare. An investigation into activities at his high school has established that pot smoking and the graduation to heroin is common. This does not bode well for son and mother.

A good friend of the professional woman has alerted her about what is going on at her son’s high school, but the mother has her head in the sand and chosen to take the clueless path. That put two people on the wrong path: mother and son. Her reply was alarming. “He is just experimenting. I want him to get it out of his system before he enters college”. My goodness! What a clueless professional mother!

There are several factors clueless mother has to quickly realize about her very addicted son. It may take a very long time for her stoned on weed addiction to get out of his system. What happens to him when he gets bored with grass? Will he graduate to a more serious (heroin) addiction? And as his very good student record has deteriorate, will he ever get into college at all after spending his high school years stoned on grass?

Clueless mother has to pull her head out of the sand. She has to listen to her friend who is desperately trying to help her before what is certainly down the road becomes a very sad reality in her life and that of her son’s. Clueless mother has to get professional help for herself and her son. Her peace of mind and the future success of her son are dangerously hanging in the balance. Her son has to get back on the straight and narrow and become what he once was: an obedient, honest, and very good student without delay! Mother and son have to work it out together, because plenty of potential trouble is waiting around the corner: a long lasting addiction; graduation to heroin and cocaine; prison; skid row; no college for addicted son; a life of great regret for clueless mother’s failure to understand and act positively in time.

It finally had to happen. After months of uncertainty the truth has finally hit fan. There is no more mystery in California Governor Jerry Brown’s strings are firmly being pulled by government employee unions there is in Sacramento. The many unions are clearly calling the shots, and that bodes poorly for California’s economic recovery and the rescue of the badly run and dysfunctional school systems in the state.

It is the second time around as governor for Jerry Brown. The voters learned no lessons from his first time around. It is truly a sad situation. The voters trusted J. B. and believed he would break the union shackles, rescue the state from dire economic straits, and help repair the dysfunctional school system that plagues the state. All of this has been going on for a long, and nothing good is going to happen soon. J. B. is much older but not at all any wiser.

When J. B. signed into law Senate Bill 202 recently, that is all the voters of California needed to know. It was the same old J. B. SB 202 is the poster child for legislative abuses. J. B. could have vetoed that monstrosity. Instead, he is once again tied to the apron strings of government employee unions, and the door is still wide open to higher taxes, a stagnated state economy, businesses leaving the state in large numbers, and the continued dysfunction of state schools as more good tax money is thrown after badly used tax money.

The California voters got badly tricked by J. B. because they did not learn any lessons from past experience. And the lesson is this: Anyone now who believes anything any politician says anymore during campaigning needs a thorough head examination. Jerry Brown (President B. Obama, also) is doing a 180° from campaign and promises and is assuring voters the game is surely over. The current behavior of what is going on makes it a no-brainer.

Someone somewhere in America is always ready, willing, and able to help America’s cultural decline reach lower depths. Recently that has happened in an important area of communication: talk radio. No one is surprised that it has taken place in covered by free speech in America.

Three people are involved in this new phase of cultural degradation. Two people are men, and the other is a woman. They certainly are not a credit to American society. It is a perfect example of counterculture thinking and acting: Just because something can be done, go ahead and do it.

The three nincompoops, who call themselves co-hosts, want to outdo anyone else and become the new shock jocks who pushed Howard Stern out of the way. Is it a coincidence that the three men involved in such disgusting radio broadcasting and talk seem to be Jewish?

The conversation and call-in topics leave nothing out-of-bounds, so you can use your own imagination. The tone is lively. More than just a few expletives are sprinkled in the talk. F-Bombs freely flow and blow up discussions which go from politics to all kinds of sex talk as easily as drinking a glass of A&W Rootbeer. The broadcasts are totally irreverent and dreadful: the very bottom of the perverted barrel.

Who is really to blame for so much irreverence and dreadfulness? That is the big question. The U. S. Supreme Court got the ball rolling when it ruled that all kinds of speech are free under the U. S. Constitution. Then there are the hosts of the raw, uncensored, and detestable talk programs. They are typical counterculture people who are undignified and poor thinkers. Finally, there are the listeners and call-in people who seem to be uneducated and lacking in basic good judgment.

Their vocabulary and murder of the English language as they speak tells on them. The program’s success rests a great deal with them it is sad to say. But there is gladness to say: Renegade Talk as the new program is not for everyone. The three hosts of the new program have made some real enemies. The indications and hope seem to say that Renegade Talk will end up in the toilet where it firmly and certainly belongs.

Many years ago there was need a very necessary change in a certain area of America’s culture. It took awhile, but it finally took place as part of the now infamous counterculture movement which began during the mid-1960 time period. The needed positive cultural change was how women were treated and respected. In spite of their good contributions, they were considered as second class citizens. The change started out very positive, but it over the years it has been yielding awful results in the modern American culture.

Forty-five years ago when so many attractive and modestly dressed woman would be out in public doing good and necessary things, they were subjected to very embarrassing comments and behavior. It was common for men to whistle and make crude comments in their direction as they walked by. It was insulting and demeaning. A change had to be made.

The counterculture movement forced laws to be made in favor of women during the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. Crude and unsolicited comments and embarrassing behavior directed at women were considered sexual harassment. The new laws were justified and worked very well.

Let us now move forward to modern times and see how women have morphed into the embarrassing and demeaning cultural objects that they are. Women have taken full advantage of the new laws in a very negative way. Female behavior has been very unbecoming and seriously wrong out in public everywhere during modern times, with no consequences, unless any male reacts to that behavior and is accused of sexual harassment or sexual abuse.

It is very common now to see young girls, high school girls, and grown women of advanced age everywhere casually dressed so that plenty of cleavage and bare breast show. It is very common to see girls and women casually dressed in blue jeans and pants so tight that no imagination is needed front or back. These modes of dress and behavior are even seen at church services at any given time.

All of this female behavior has to change. Common sense has to prevail. Common decency must again be the order of everyday. If men by the order of law are not allowed to make any comments, especially suggestive, women also should not be allowed to dress immodestly and be out in public everywhere at any given time. What has to be good for the gander has to be good for the goose also. Modest female dress out in public must become fashionable for all time, muy, muy pronto.
