The LIGHT and The Salt

Every so often on radio talk shows the topic of near-death experiences (NDE) gets discussed. That happened twice recently. The NDE is a most interesting topic because everyone wants to know what happens when we die. All want to know if the NDE ia a real event and what happens during it. The programs discussed all the research that has been going on since 1990, and, yes, the research points to the fact that the NDE and what goes on in them is without a doubt very real.

The significant parts of the NDE are the LIGHT and the life review, with the LIGHT being the most significant. Time after time in interview, with near-death experiences in all parts of the world the LIGHT is considered the most interesting and exciting. It is all in the research records and the records state the fact that the lives of all the experiences have LIGHT been transformed for the better by the LIGHT. Records state that so many of the transformations have been very outstanding, also. So, the LIGHT is considered to be God.

During the ministry of Jesus, He remained his followers many times when He said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the LIGHT”, and that “You are the salt of the earth”. During the NDE the LIGTH transforms, and here on earth salt transforms.

Therefore, in the NDE the LIGHT has to be God, and the life review is evidence and direction for a life transformation, which takes place in all near-death experiences as they resume living their lives. It is on record all the science research establishes this.

It is also on record that some near-death experiences reveal that a hellish eternity is in store in the “salt of the earth” (us) does not transform their lives. The hellish NDE is one to avoid absolutely. There is no all loving LIGHT or life review, just a hellish existence. That type of NDE supports what we are told and learn from the Holy Bible. So, the sensible person should realize that: A. God is real; B. The NDE is real; C. The events in a NDE should not be ignored; D. Lives are always transformed; E. Evil lives must be transformed; and, F. That there is an all loving God who keeps His word and really is “the Way, the Truth, and the LIGHT”, who is there for us all now and later in our eternity if we choose to believe in Him, to listen for us and follow his teachings, and to realize that His blessings and guidance are there for the asking as aids in transforming our Lives.

The transformation includes this: When the NDE is pleasant, the transformation always takes place for the better, because the LIGHT is forever present in the person´s life. When the NDE is hellish, there is no LIGHT, only darkness. It is up to the person to do the transformation through free will by bringing God into daily life. Love God and neighbor. Keep the Ten Commandments. Develop God given talents. Then God and the salt will be working together in a harmonious transformation. Those who have had a hellish NDE should be forever thankful and work hard to avoid at all costs a dark painful eternity full of never-ending intense despair.
