America’s Pornography Proliferation

By

Roger Behra

What has quietly and rapidly taken over in millions of American lives during the past several years is the addiction to pornography of all kinds. It is shocking that this has happened, but it is not unexplainable how this has happened, and it is not unthinkable why this has happened. The American culture has the U. S. Supreme Court, the computer, and the modern cell phone to blame along with the great decline in religious living. The entrance of pornography into millions of lives, at home and during working hours, and at places like Washington, D.C., The Security Exchange Commission (SEC), and most recently the Pentagon. There is no doubt that pornography is very common just about everywhere.

The harm of pornography now starts in lives as young as 12-years-old. Parents do find out on their children’s computers. Recent addicts include women and seniors. Supervisors are finding it on computers at work stations. Women say their excuse for viewing pornography is because it has become so violent and humiliating. Men watch it for the thrills they get from it and so they can tell women how to please them. Men have very little control over their thinking and actions, and they let pornography become a huge obsession, weakness, and distraction in their lives.

The negative aspects of pornography are numerous and very harmful. There is no doubt that pornography stimulates. There is no doubt that it is the root cause of untold violent and humiliating rapes and other sex crimes. Teen sex results from porno viewing. Sexting among all age groups is stimulated by online porno viewing. Parents are finding out the awful results of online pornography. It is a very tough topic for parents who have children under the age of nineteen, and the more children in the household the greater are the chances for online pornography to become a real nightmare.

Pornography has been found in some very unlikely places. A Catholic priest was found to have it on his personal computer. A licenced special education teacher wanted to use his personal Computer in his classroom. The technician he called to install it found porno on it. The police arrested him in his classroom the next day. A Newport Beach, California mom and dad happened to see a video created by a group of high school athletes. It was posted on a public Facebook wall. They were shocked beyond belief at what the male athletes threatened to do to a female student at their school. The threats and language were unprintable. Recently porno was found on computers in the Pentagon.

As you can see pornography is far reaching and has become an obsession and a scourge in many lives. It has permeated the American culture. It is evil. It is harmful. And the blame rest squarely on the shoulders of the U.S. Supreme Court. They call pornography a form of free speech and cannot be prohibited. Satan calls it a great victory for his evil empire. He must be smiling from ear to evil ear. And the uproarious laughter can be heard all throughout America’s culture. It is loud and clear everywhere as Satan’s evil helpers join in the laughter.
