Evil Spirits Do Exist

It is absolutely incredible, with all the evidence available, how many people deny the existence of evil spirits, demonic activity, and demonic possession. There are Catholic Bishops. Catholic priests, and medical professionals who do the denying. Millions of ordinary people also deny. All of this denying is inspite of the evidence that evil spirits do exist. There is the Bible. There are tapes of certified exorcisms and the victims of demonic possession as proof. There are dozens of books published over a long period of time as proof also.

Recently, March, 2009 a most interesting book on the subject of exorcisms’ has been published. The Rite Making of a Modern Exorcist, Matt Baglio, is a most interesting and must read on the subject of exorcisms. The book very accurately tells the effects of demonic activity, demonic possession, and what they do to individuals and a culture. The book also reveals that the Catholic Church is now teaching a course in Rome to select and appointed Catholic priests the correct rite of exorcisms. The exorcism has to be very properly and accurately performed to avoid harm to possessed and/or the exorcist. Not just anyone can perform an exorcism. And the need for exorcisms has increased dramatically in our modern times.

Matt's book reveals without a doubt that evil spirits do exist, and that they are at the root of horrendous crimes and unbelievable evil that exists in today's world. It tells of the unbelievable, unimaginable, and frightening things evil spirits alone can do, and how they work through human beings. Evil spirits are examples of the purest hatred imaginable, and they are always ready to unleash their hatred in the physical world of today. The proof is all around us. We read about it in the paper and hear about it daily on television and radio.

Demonic behavior through a person mimics mental illness. And when extensive and thorough medical attention cannot pinpoint the cause, the request is made for an exorcism. The trained priest exorcist has ways of establishing if demonic activity or possession is the cause. If so, the priest exorcist takes the case. What has been established is the fact that demonic activity and possession is far more prevalent than one can imagine.

Evil spirits never miss an opportunity to use their hatred toward God and His Blessed Mother Mary. And they do that through human behavior. Some of the most horrendous and purely hateful crimes committed are a direct result of the pure hate they wish to express. And they do that through human sinfulness. Especially avoid the occult, ouigi boards, satanic rituals, black magic, and hate toward one's neighbor. Pure hate was expressed during the Charles Manson murders, the Zodiac killings, and the Wayne Gacy murders of teenage boys. The murders on the yacht, where the owners were tied to the anchor and thrown overboard and the freeway murders, where numerous bodies over a long period of time were found on freeway off ramps are good examples of pure hate.

You will be safe from the clutches of evil and the sponsors of evil if you turn to God and keep His commandments and pray often. Evil spirits have no chance of penetrating all that armor. Thanks be to God a very large number of people do the good and proper things just mentioned. They are a credit to God, themselves, and their culture.
