Major Foreign Policy Blunders

It is not a surprise that as of April 21, 2014, so many foreign policy blunders by America´s president have taken place, and Cold War victories won 40 years ago between communism and democracy, the Soviet Union and the United States have not been squandered because America´s president has failed to lead and may well go down as one of the worst foreign-policy presidents in America history.    

 

Russia is on the move again, and it looks like another Cold War is taking shape. Russia annexed Crimea and is causing trouble in the Ukraine. That could have been averted if Mr. Obama had a foreign policy in place to deal with Russia. Russia is emboldened now and merely shrugs off the United States secretary of state. That is a sign that Obama has lost geopolitical ground his White House predecessors worked so hard to wind. Mr. Obama is not match when dealing with Mr. Putin.     

 

In March, 2014 Mr. Obama met up with South Korean President Park Geun-hye and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to discuss the security threat posed by North Korea. Mr. Obama assured them that America has their backs if Pyongyang starts any trouble in East Asia.      

 

No sooner did Mr. Obama bid the South Korea and Japanese heads of state farewell than North Korea test-fired two Rodong missiles, which are capable of reaching not only Seoul, but also Tokyo, and which can be fitted with nuclear warheads. That was not enough of a provocation by North Korea who followed it up with the flight of a surveillance drone that flew over Geun-hye´s presidential place. I clearly was an act of provocative intent. Yet, Mr. Obama had little to say about Pyongyang´s provocations.      

 

Then there is the so-called Arab Spring debacle. A great moment of opportunity was lost for U. S. diplomacy. It has been a big failure for Obama´s foreign policy. Clearly, Mr. Obama got it wrong on the Arab Spring, especially in Libya, where Libyan Ambassador J. Christopher Stephens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty were killed in a 2012 terror attack in Benghazi. Mr. Obama promised to bring to justice those responsible for their deaths. As of April, 2014 the culprits remain at large.      

 

It is matter of record that all the gains made at the end of the first Cold War that ended a 40-year struggle, between the Soviet Union and United States, have been squandered by America´s president. And to make matters worse, Mr. Obama has no firm, fixed, and effective foreign policy in place to combat a possible new Cold War that Russia can start at any time. Obama thinks sanctions will do the trick but sanctions will not. Russia´s Mr. Putin is an unpredictable president and makes up his own agenda as he goes alone.  That became evident with the Ukraine situation which can easily begin a new Cold War. Putin shrugged off America´s secretary of state in the Ukraine situation. It seems Mr. Putin would enjoy a new Cold War. It is all Putin and Russia can offer along with their shaky economy and weapons that end up in terrorist´s hands.

The public education system in America is badly broken. That has been brought clearly to the attention of Americans recently, and colleges and universities are very concerned because their enrollments depend on the quality of the public school system. Not only is the public school system badly broken, there is no remedy on the horizon to fix it.

 

Two things brought this sad situation to the attention of Americans. It has be a great problem for colleges and universities that fifty-five percent of high school graduates who plan to pursue a college degree cannot do so until they complete all the necessary remedial English courses. That is a rude awakening for a great many people. This first thing is also a great shock to more than half of the high school graduates who thought all was well because they did graduate from high school.

 

The second thing to cause the public school system to become badly broken happened when the U. S. Government became involved in the daily teaching agenda from day to day. That pretty much stopped the daily routine that was working so well for a long period of time.

 

When the U. S. Government intruded, teachers were mandated to teach so much so often that there was no way all the “required” subjects could be given all the attention that was needed. Basic instruction in reading, writing, and math along with geography and history took a back seat so that government mandates could be always net. The government’s instruction was colossal mistake, and many outstanding teachers left the teaching profession as a result.

 

Students who do not plan to attend a college or university and do not take remedial courses are the one who wander throughout the American culture at a great disadvantage, and there are millions of them.

 

Public school students realize they can get by without learning the things the politicians mandate. Coupling this with the stripping away of the ability of teachers to enforce discipline in their classrooms, there is little wondered so many schools are chaotic to the point of being dysfunctional.

 

Ignorant politicians and bureaucrats have so meddled with public education that it can barely function. Bigger and better is not what makes educating and schools better. The America public school system is today broken. It fact it is broken beyond repair. If preparing America’s children for the culture is the most important for the survival of American society, America is in great jeopardy, because no plan or remedy is available. The broken public school system is here to stay, and no one knows how to fix it. It’s no longer free because of the U. S. Government’s intervention, which is absolutely no surprise at all.

There was a time (the 1930’s) in America when the American citizens were really experiencing some very bad economic times. The great economic Depression was in full swimming. Unemployment was above 25%. The economy was at a complete stop. Those that had a job were lucky to be working three days a week. People were losing their homes. Suicides increased dramatically. Ends were very hard to meet. The economic mode of daily living was the order of the day. So was another mode of daily living-the Christian way of living each day. The Americans of eighty years ago were economically poor, but they were morally quite rich. The exact opposite is true today.

 

In the modern American culture of today (2013) people who are poor have a level material wealth that would have been a pipe dream to yesterday’s Americans. But in spite of the fact that today’s Americans have achieved an unprecedented level wealth, Americans are very poor-spiritually and morally. The large majority of Americans who are spiritually and morally poor are greatly in inferior to yesterday’s Americans. It is like night and day. The impoverishment greatly hurts the American culture.

 

In today’s American culture the level of poor spiritually and morality would be considered great character defects eighty years ago. But this is not so today. What’s worse is there is little condemnation of it by those who are spiritual and moral. Crude behavior and language are accepted today.

 

In yesterday’s America out-of-wedlock childbirth would not occasion a baby shower; divorce was not a way to go; pornography was not at all acceptable; teen sex was very seldom; women dressed very modestly; honesty was the best policy; children respected parents and lawful authority; most families attended church regularly on SUNDAY; despicable acts in personal live was not openly discussed there was no Popular TV to contaminate family lives; customs, traditions, and moral values were honored and revered. Good behavioral norms were transmitted by example, word of mouth, religious teaching, rules of etiquette and manners. Personal behavior was ladylike or gentlemanly.

 

Police officers and courts cannot replace the social restraints on personal behavior. Religion is not even a factor any longer in character development. At best, laws, police, and the criminal justice system are society’s last desperate line of defense. So the richer America is going to stay the poorer and disgustingly unacceptable America.

It definitely had to be done. With all the murders, suicides raps, child abuse, drugs, alcohol addiction, fraud, theft, cheating, arrogance, dishonest business dealings, infidelity, immoral sex, and homosexuality going on in America´s culture, some person had to write a book that tells why all this happening. K. W. Kessler´s book, “Demonology 101” tells why. The book is interesting, informative, and right on the money. Many non-believers will become believers. Others may even decide to change their mode of behavior.

Kessler was a non-believer in paranormal activities until something very unexplainable happened in his family. That caused him to begin investigating strange and unexplainable happening, and he arrived at the conclusion: demons do exist; over people; demons have America in their clutches and are roaming throughout seeking the ruin of souls just like the Bible tells us.

Demonic activity starts with demonic influence and progresses the demonic affliction and even demonic possession of which there are two kinds: imperfect and perfect. Both imperfect and perfect possession requires full consent to the will. All of this going on full time now in America, and it is the direct result of the counterculture´s decisions to throw God to the wind several decades ago.

Kessler now realizes and accepts what he did not want to several years ago. He realizes and accepts that demons are a very powerful and existing force of evil in any culture, and that they are at the root of all the behaviors mentioned in the first paragraph.

There is plenty of wonderful and good behavior going on in America. That is also very noticeable. But it is being greatly overshadowed by the very substantial and noticeable increase in so many modes of evil activity. The media on a daily basis is always informing us of this fact.

There is no doubt that Satan, the master of the deceit; Satan, the ultimate evil entity; Satan and his evil demon creatures are very well driving the evil machine. The fact that the need for exorcisms has increased 1000% since 1970 is most convincing, most alarming, and most depressing, indeed.

A large number of modern Americans are ignorant of the fact that America was founded on strong religious and conservative cultural principles. It is sad to note that just the opposite is is happening today in America. Those two philosophies have been totally ignored in modern America.

There is no excuse for a culture to wander away from proven and reliable religious and conservative principles. They are the glue that keeps a culture moral, honest, and dignified. When the counterculture movement threw all that away and brought in the new, it was a great mistake that severely harmed America’s once very great culture. Now, the culture reeks of immorality, dishonesty, horrendous murders, lack of general respect for human dignity, and appears to be dysfunctional socially and politically.

The straying away from conservative principles started out of necessity by the U. S. Government during the Great Depression. As time passed, it has morphed into today’s government controlled, super liberal, irreligious cultural monster with plenty of from President B. Obama during the past three years. And soon, down the road, November 6, 2012, lurks the point of no return.

During the 1930’s, economic conditions forced the U. S. Government to be much less conservative, and when WW2 entered the situation, the government continued to be less conservative. Less conservative was under control until in ballooned way out of control under the Johnson and Carter administrations for twenty years. Now, after three years of the Obama administrations, America is way out of economic control and on the edge of a steep cliff toward economic disaster in the politicians in Washington cannot get it together to avoid it. The socialistic minded, super liberal, inexperience, wrong thinking, and bad decision making Barrac Obama has not helped at all. He is absolutely the wrong president at a very crucial time in America history. If he is elected again on 11-6-2012, he will take America around the bend to socialism and the point of no return. Obama and his super liberal administration will jump at the chance to do so. It’s the way they think.

The most important nagging question as of 8-15-11 is whether B. Obama is going to be electable again on 11-6-2012. At the moment only 37% of Americans approve of his performance so far. He is carrying so much negative baggage. American seem to be waking up among those who voted for him in 2008. They see him taking America around the point of no return with his very flawed foregin policy, his indecision and bad decisions on crucial domestic situations, as well as his super liberal philosophy. And just as important, Americans do not want democracy exchanged for socialism. All of this makes up the point of no return that is just around the corner. It seems that 11-6-2012 is going to be the most important date in modern American history. There is no doubt about it!
